Wayne says the Diarists meeting was brilliant – if a bit overwhelming.

Hi diarists, it’s Wayne here in Kent.

I went onto the Zoom meeting today and had fully intended to do a diary entry, which I have not done for too long. But I will explain about all that in the diary entry. Although I`ve done quite a lot of Zoom meetings, mostly doing with work kind of things, there`s only ever been at the most 4 people on and it’s all beenvery kind of calm and controlled, with one person at a time and all that sort of thing. So I found the meeting… maybe I just wasn`t quite ready for so many people, and so much going on, both visually and audibly and the keeping on flashing. Because every time somebody moved, if they hadn`t got their sound muted of course their camera flashes onto them. And I found it a bit much after (lol) spending the last two weeks not seeing or doing anything. Everything`s, everything is suddenly a bit much in one go.

So I just want to say it’s absolutely brilliant, everybody should join even though that will mean there`s far too many people. But it really was so wonderful see so many faces that I knew and hear the voices and people so upbeat, it really was wicked. So thank you so much for that, Steve, a brilliant job well done, well managed. And I will be doing a diary entry and I`ll do it by the phone when (lol) I’ve kind of recovered. So it might be later today or may well be tomorrow.
