It’s thundery and sultry outside, but Stephen is having a relaxing day at home.

Hi everybody, hello everyone. Yeah, Thursday morning. It’s a bit of a grey day, but it’s quite warm down here in Cornwall. Yeah, it looks as if it could rain anytime but there you go.

Yeah, Thursday, I’ve been here on me own today, wife’s gone out for a while with her friends on her day out so I’m here today having a relaxing day, watching a bit of TV. Seeing how I used to work on a farm, I used to like driving a tractor, which anybody does sometimes. I’ve got me own remote control tractors as well and I love playing ’round with them. It’s my hobby and that’s what keeps me going. It just keeps me going, yeah, it’s good.

Yeah, it’s a funny old day, it’s warm, it’s thundery, a bit thundery, sultry. It seemed to go from one extreme to the other, cold and then it goes to warm. I’m not surprised people get colds and whatnot. But yeah, I don’t know what else is going on in the world today, but it’s a bit depressing, isn’t it? It’s not really what you want to talk about, it’s really depressing, isn’t it? But there you go.

Now I’m just having a relaxing day today and not thinking about too much today, just having a nice chill out, cup of tea, and I’ll have my dinner in a minute and talk to me mate on FaceTime messenger — a chap who lives up in Wales. I normally speak to him most days and he’s 75 and he’s got dementia as well so it works for both of us, doesn’t it? Yeah, it’s very good this, these computers and whatnot. Very good. When it works right (chuckles).
