Stephen’s experiencing trouble remembering everyday words. Being Stephen, he’s philosophical about it though.

Yeah, hi. Was it Thursday today. Rubbishy weather down here in Cornwall. Very very windy, heavy showers. Some dry bits, and a lot of wet bits.
But anyway, this afternoon I’ve got me carer coming for a couple of hours, to keep us company. We’ll probably have a go again with tennis on the Wii, on the Wii game. It’s just too cold to go out I think. Especially in a wheelchair, it’s not the greatest thing is it, to get dumped on by rain, when you’re in a wheelchair. When you’re mobile you can duck in somewhere, but yeah – it’s not so easy in a wheelchair.
I dunno. Yeah, I – some of my memory’s slipping a bit. I wanted to email to Morver about me stairlift, and I’d forgotten what the word ‘service’ was, to have a service. So I just had to phone me wife up, who’s gone out, and she told me what it was, and I just could not remember what it was called. And I thought – ah! Service. Yeah. Got to be service, though. Whether we’ll get any joy or no, I dunno. It’s all a bit slow down in Cornwall at the moment, just like everywhere innit. Draggy. Yeah. Never mind. Hopefully I’ll get a reply soon. But this isn’t the first time I’ve had to email them several times. But you don’t get a reply. Never mind. It’ll get serviced sooner or later. But I don’t want it to break down in the meantime, if you know what I mean.
I just could not remember the word ‘service’. But, there you go. Never mind. It’s one of them, innit.
