It’s hot, hot, hot as Stephen takes to flip flops.
Yeah, hi. Phew! Another hot one out there, isn’t it. So hot. Met me carer this afternoon, went round the town, St Austell, went into a restaurant, a pub restaurant, and had a – what did I have? – tea. Burger and chips, and a pint of bitter shandy. Ah, beautiful. Lovely, cool, cold, cold, beautiful it was. Loved it.
And, yeah. But it’s so hot out there isn’t it. It’s hard. With this heat you have a hard job breathing anyway but with this extreme heat as well, it’s, you know – well, it’s extreme to me because I can’t stick this heat like that. It’s really really hot and clammy and sticky and ugh. I been out there in just me short and t-shirt this afternoon so, yeah. Caught a bit of sun, sat in the [inaudible] seat as well, yeah – that’s how strong the sun is. But I think come the end of the week, the temperatures are going down a bit, so that will be good. More reasonable.
My wife’s going to have to self-isolate cause her friend had a ping on her phone saying that she had to isolate so, and she’s been going out with her a lot, so. She’s OK, she hasn’t got any fever or anything like that, she hasn’t got the Covid as such, no she hasn’t got it, but she’s self-isolating anyway, just to be safe. And of course now I’ve had to put me daughter off and me granddaughters off for Saturday, and me brother Saturday, so I’ve got a very quiet weekend.
