Stephen describes his first experience of a home covid test.
Yeah, I did my first rapid Covid test home kit last night, came back negative so that was good. Was a little bit apprehensive but it seems to work out OK. Carer helped me do it so that was good. Yeah. Feel a bit more relieved now. I’m probably going to do mine twice a week, you know, just to be on the safe side isn’t it. Probably go out a couple of times a week, so yeah, I think it’s good to do it isn’t it. Yeah.
Just feels a bit strange, feels a bit strange I guess. You know the tests itself are, bit gagging. Feel a bit sick afterwards, but. Nose is a bit sore as well, so. I mean you’ve got to twiddle the damn thing around inside your nose and throat for quite a while. But anyway. Better to do that and be negative, that’s the best thing. But if two lines show up then it’s positive, but it was only one, so that was good. It’s really good about that. Takes a lot of pressure off, doesn’t it.
