“For me dementia means that my thinking process isn’t the same as everybody else’s”

Today I was just thinking about how having dementia affects me and how it affects a lot more than just people’s memory and thinking processes. For me dementia means that my thinking process isn’t the same as everybody else’s. I’m a lot slower, sometimes can’t think of things to say, sometimes I stumble or stutter. I have experienced quite a lot of times when people judge me on my actions.
