Tommy reporting, I just want to tell you about why dementia diaries is important in my life.

Dementia diaries helps me feel that I’m not alone, I’ve my Peers who understand what I’m going through, being able to tell stories about what affects me is a great comfort

Stories help us explain the world, making sense of the insensible, when you tell your story you learn that you are not alone

Dementia diaries is like a time capsule for me as they are able to capture how I feel in the moment

I’m able to express exactly how I feel with the emotions that I feel at the time

The wealth of experience that is shared by my peers those with dementia needs to be collated and shared with everyone to show my peers and our Carers that we all have empathy with one another

Through dementia diaries I feel as if I’m part of a community that has total empathy with each other

I’m able to hear how my peers feel and find ways that they have coped
