Paul talks about the DEEP meeting in Manchester

Hello, Paul from Liverpool here. Just eh just to say erm I went to er Manchester this er this morning to do a half day for em erm DEEP and it was erm, it was erm a terrible day, I was a bit flustered this morning but but the meeting was absolutely fabulous erm.

I think the meetings , by and large now, because we’re a group of people er living with dementia and erm the people in DEEP understand how we are.

I think the meetings are going a lot better now than what they’ve ever, then what they’ve ever done. I mean we’ve been to, been to one in Edinburgh, been to one in Birmingham, today its Manchester which is an ongoing thing, affair.

And em its just nice to sit down with people that we know or people who understand rather than the the professionals, erm actually asking questions and making their decisions up, its all done by ourselves.

So erm Im very pleased about that and erm eh long may it continue.
