Glenda is feeling scared at the prospect of meeting others if she goes out. But the veg are going great guns.
Hi everybody, it’s Glenda here.
I haven’t got much to say this week because I’m still shielding. Here in Wales I have to do shielding ’til August and it’s getting very hard, but it’s also getting very scary.
I’m a bit scared of going out and meeting other people, because of being very vulnerable. After shielding, it’s going to be hard to go out and meet other people.
I’m also enjoying my polytunnel very much, I’ve got all kinds of vegetables in it and I’ve got fruit and I’m surprised how quickly they’re growing. I’ll put some pictures up in the North Wales Dementia web page in a little while, after they’ve grown a little more.
It’s a really nice day here today, but it’s been raining very badly. Apart from (coughs) being scared of going out, I’m quite all right because I live in such a lovely, quiet place. Even though I’m shielding, I can go out for a walk. I don’t see anybody at all, but it’s getting harder and harder and I’m thinking too much of “What Ifs”, instead of my usual thinking of “Go for it”, which is a bit frightening really.
Anyway, that’s all for now,
Bye.
