“Organisations across Liverpool can become more dementia friendly”
by Regina Shaw
“I was at a meeting in the centre of Liverpool, which included, obviously, several other people who are all working together to organise an event at the town hall in Liverpool. And it will be to invite shops and other organisations across Liverpool, to come along and find out how they can become more dementia friendly. So, it’s a really big deal and we’ve got the town hall because Erica Kemp, who is the lord mayor at the town hall, has arranged for us to be able to use it for this event. Which is fantastic. She’s a fantastic person. Her daughter is a dementia friend champion, and you know they’re just really supportive. So that’s going to be a fantastic event. And we are just busily looking for people who’d like to come along to it.”
