“Today’s been bit of a sad day really”

“Oh hello, its Paul just reporting in. Today’s been bit of a sad day really. Melancholic I suppose. I went to my group, usually, usually there’s 18 of us there. Well about 16 people. Today there was just myself – three of us there. A lot of, one passed away. I have to go to a funeral tomorrow. We won’t see dear old Mel anymore, he’s a fine gentlemen. And I don’t know, just bit of a sad feeling today. There was about four or five of them that are not well. A few of them never come. It seems of the last forty, most people have come by the wayside of this disease. Well anyway, there’s Mel’s funeral tomorrow. I’m just going to bed now.”
