Stephen’s discovered he needs to have a Covid test before he can have a chest x-ray.

Yeah hi! Yeah, I’m not sure whether my last entry got through or not, but I’m doing another one anyway just in case it didn’t. I had a lot of fun and games at the doctor’s surgery, Thursday I’ve got to have a home COVID test, be coming on Thursday. I should be OK, I mean I’ve got no symptoms or anything, no temperature, no cough, nothing: I’ve had a chest infection, that’s what I’ve had.

But I’ve got to have COVID test before they let me have a x-ray, a COVID test before I’m going to hospital and have a blummin’ x-ray, it’s a bit not good. But there you go, that’s what it’s like now innit, everything’s COVID, but it’s – I don’t know – but anyway, if I’ve got to go somewhere and have a chest x-ray the carers will sort something out for me, they’ll take me in. They’ll look after me, so that’s good, they’re really good at it. They sort of said tonight, that if I’ve got to go another x-ray, they’ll either do it, or the ambulance will pick me up, that’s the only thing. It’ll have to be one way or the other wouldn’t it.

It’s just a shame, you know. All you need is some different inhalers, and you’ve just got to go through this to get something like that. I dunno, it is what it is, but never mind.
