Stephen’s test has arrived in the post, he’s hoping for a negative result.

I’m in bed at the moment, resting up. My COVID test came through today, the carer’s going to help me to do that tomorrow morning, and I’m hoping she’ll post it in an urgent post box somewhere, and hopefully tomorrow or Friday I should get the test results back, so I’m crossing fingers and hope everything’s OK. I’m feeling very confident, I mean there is always that trepidation that it could go either way couldn’t it, but I’m hoping it will go the right way.

Then I can have my chest x-ray, which I’ve got to have, so when the COVID test results come back, if it’s clear I’ve got to ring the doctor and he’ll book in an x-ray for me, in one of our local hospitals down here. Yes, hopefully everything will be alright tomorrow. I’m actually glad I’ve got my usual carer comes out tomorrow morning for two or three hours, to stay with me, sit with me and have a chat, and she’s going to get us a bit of dinner as well so that’s alright.

I’m just a little bit anxious with it, you know – it can be a bit anxiety problems can’t it, with these things, but hopefully it will be OK. What can you do, you’ve just got to go along with it haven’t you, and do what you can. But hopefully everything will be alright, and we could be fine, I would have thought. Well, hopefully.
