Agnes is relieved to have had her jab, despite the side-effects.
Good morning everybody. It’s the weekend. I believe it’s Saturday today. I think it’s February… not sure.
Anyway I was just phoning to say that, thank goodness, I’ve had my COVID injection. I had a bit of a reaction to it which has lasted in, on and off, for about five days now so, especially the headaches, oh my goodness me. Yesterday one of the headaches, I mean it lasted all day and I had to take paracetamol and knocked me off my balance so I stayed in bed. And then, I’m feeling much better today and it hasn’t put me off getting the COVID injection. I just wish I’d been a wee bit more mentally prepared for the side effects. But that’s okay.
Now… but yesterday was not a good day. The headache was really quite disabling. And the postman came and guess what was in the post? A lovely surprise card with a little pocket wooden bear hug from a lovely friend, a virtual friend, Glory. So I want to give a big thank you to Glory. You have no idea how much that little bear hug got me through yesterday. Many many thanks.
Today’s another day. I think it’s a kick up the bum I need to get out of this bed! But I’m going to pull myself out of the bed and try to get myself motivated, but I have to say it’s getting harder and harder and harder to do.
So take care everybody. Spring has sprung so I need to get that spring in my step and get moving. Hope you all have a nice weekend. Bye!
