Being in the company other other people with dementia is important, but so is integration in wider community says James.
Good morning, this is James. Thanking you for doing the job that you’re doing.
I’ve just come off the Zoom, and there was mention of an event for people with dementia only. And I thought, well, with Zoom on my own, I’d prefer it to be people with dementia only. We’re amongst kindred spirits. But then I thought about other places, say finding groups for people with dementia, dementia cafés. Sometimes I feel it would be better if everybody went, we just went in as ordinary people, because we are ordinary people. And, it’s only maybe certain occasions where we need to be classified as a separate group. As I say, integrated and not divided.
Bye bye.
