James can’t remember the last time he bought anything with cash.
Good evening. This is James, thanking you for doing the job you’re doing. Makes such a big difference to some people.
I had a think. I don’t know when I last bought something – and I’m talking about cash – I just don’t know. Obviously since the lockdown, my wife hasn’t used much cash, because she’s used some sort of card, because some shops won’t accept cash now. I don’t have a credit card, as she took it off me, in case I made some unwise purchases, so – and not everybody with dementia will have a credit card or debit card. So I’m just wondering how we’re going to fare when it comes to buying stuff with hard cash? I hope people make provisions for us.
Goodnight.
