Clive looks forward to things getting busier, albeit with a little apprehension.
Hello, it’s Clive Rogers here.
Just thought I’d say, with everything opening up: tomorrow we’re meeting with two of my veteran friends. We’re going for – out for lunch together, the first time we’ve been out and met other people outside.
I must say I’m a little apprehensive of what it’s going to be like with loads of people about, but we’ll see how it goes and then this coming weekend, we’re going down here from Shropshire down to my daughter’s for the weekend. She lives down in Winchester, near Southampton – looking forward to that and then in three weeks’ time, we’re going up to my stepson’s in Stirling in – north of Glasgow, in Scotland. We’re allowed to go up to them, we’re going to stop with them for a couple of days as well.
Not so much looking forward to the travel but looking forward to seeing them all again. It’s going to be good to get to see family and friends again. Now we’ll have to see how it all goes, as I say I’m a little apprehensive, like when we go down there, stopping at motorway stops with loads of people about. I struggle with lots of noise around and things like that, but we’ll see how it goes and I’ll let you all know how it goes.
Oh and I’ve started art class as well. I’ve always wanted to be a – do art, but up until now, my – if I drew a stick man it didn’t even look like a stick man but I am improving and it’s like they say, you need to practise to be able to get better at it.
I’ll keep you all in touch and let you know how I get on.
Bye for now.
