“My frustrations is around having the physical health but not the mental health.”
By Keith Oliver
My mother had Alzheimer’s that she developed in her early mid 70s and by that time her physical mobility was much restricted, so that when she was in her late 70s she was virtually immobile, and the Alzheimer’s actually affected her mobility as much as it did her intellect and her memory. But it was less of an impact upon her. She wasn’t as frustrated as I would be at 59 not being able to move. My frustrations are around having the physical health but not the mental health.
