My name is Alan Davis from Bedford. The message of the information is as followed. On the news today it says GPs will have to enforce the DVLA if they think one of the patients is not safe to drive. Two of the responses from us is that:
1. Who makes the decision that you can’t drive, it is the doctor (GP) or a specialist dementia services.
2. This could cause problems in the relationship between the patient and GP, which is problematic itself.
