“We do a lot talking and we do a lot of laughing, but we do get things done”
Hello, it’s Elaine from Minds and Voices in York.
Today I’ve been to an all women’s group, spoken about dementia and other people got different kinds of dementia. Talking about doing talks with people who have just started with dementia and how they’re coping with it. This is what I’d like to do, I’d like to do more of what I am doing. I would like to do more talks, because I think it’s time we got more outside and started talking more about dementia and what we are doing. Making more people aware of what is.
Today’s group is fantastic. We do a lot talking and we do a lot of laughing, but we do get things done and all written down of what we are going to do. As I said, I would like get more involved in doing things.
I don’t know what else to say now. Tomorrow I’m going on Radio York to talk about dementia and talk about Minds and Voices, and how I changed since I got dementia.
Okay, thank you very much, bye!
