Twitter is a good thing but this is a warning about the dangers

Hi this is Dory, and I’d just like to warn you about the dangers of twitter as well as the good things of twitter.  I’m fairly new to twitter but I am getting better at it.  Last night I was joining in with the chat about dementia and what we thought is it good to have the (inaudible) or not and a gentleman sort of joined and I naturally thought he had something to do with dementia and then he started private messaging me, and I think he also did to another lady with a sort of romance on his mind.

So I contacted Rachel and she looked him up and he’s been blocked, she suggested I block him, which I did.  Although twitter is a very good thing to keep in contact and share ideas I think you do have to be careful, so I thought I’d just report that.  And he couldn’t spell really which is what sort of set off alarm bells, although I can’t spell either, but that’s my dementia I think or I hope (laughs).  Okay, bye.
