Melvyn has some thoughts about the MPs who recently left the Labour Party.

hello it’s Melvyn here Tuesday. It’s really lovely weather here down in Kent. Mm. It’s absolutely fabulous. Lovely and sunny. A little chill. It’s nice (clears throat). Mm Bonny{inaudible).. Apollo Apollo , no. Sorry just telling my other dog off. He’s eating out of my other dog’s tin and looks like she got bit of food. and {inaudible} is not too keen. And um these are fabulous dogs.
I’ld just like to say quickly something about the 7 Labour MPs that, um, have left. I think they are traitors and, er, at this time in the process of democracy, which I agree with, I don’t think they should have been in the Labour Party anyway. Um. For them to jump ship at this particular time is horrendous for the Socialists which I am one of. And um I thought it was absolutely abominable what they have done and they should be given the sack and got rid of.. They shouldn’t be allowed to go independent. They should have another.. um .. just trying to find the right word…should have had ..another… my brain’s gone. They should be made to leave the party altogether and to have another election and to have somebody else voted in. Obviously they are not up to the job. Tara. got to go now. Bye.
