Stephen talks about a new virtual group.
Yeah, hi everyone. Yeah…no…it’s ahh…it’s a pretty good couple of weeks…to umm…yeah…umm…dementia’s a funny thing to live with, I guess umm…you know, we’ve ah, me and my dementia friends up in Wales, we’ve started a new group chatting on Messenger and it’s really, really taken… we only started on Monday and it’s beginning to take off, you know, people like to come in and have a chat and have a laugh and a giggle, and ah…yeah, they go away a little bit happier I guess. And I’ve got to say, we only started on Monday afternoon 2 till 4 so…umm…yeah it’s called the UK Dementia Group and that’s all it is, it’s just called that, and um yep, really good. Hopefully it’ll take off and, um, there’ll be a lot of people there hopefully to have a chat and a chin-wag, that’s what it’s all about: moral support. You’ve got to have moral support out there, um, you know, with everything that goes on these days, there’s just not the moral support out there and we need more, and that’s why we started this group. And hopefully, it’ll kick off, not kick off, but take off and, ah, be successful. Hopefully.
