Dory is feeling strong and independent on International Women’s day.

Hi, it’s Dory here, just doing a recording about independent women, ready for Women’s Day on Sunday.
I know there’s been independent women, such as Emily Pankhurst and Florence Nightingale, Mother Teresa and probably – well, there is many more.
Now I never thought myself as an independent woman, strong woman, but since I’ve had Dementia I do feel a strong, independent woman and I’ve met so many other strong, independent women on my going to gatherings, DEEP gatherings and other Dementia gatherings.
And I think the cherry on the cake, as for – or the icing on the cake is the Zoomettes. I know there’s many more that’s not on the Zoomettes but on the Zoomettes – I can’t remember how many there are but they are very strong, independent women and the facilitators are the same, they’re all strong, independent women.
So I’d like to say “Thank You” to the Zoomettes and all the other women who stand up and make such a difference.
Bye.
