Melvyn is looking forward to being reconnected with his DEEP friends again.
Melvyn: It’s Melvyn back again. I hope I’m not babbling on again like I do, but talking about technology I think it’s absolutely fantastic.
My man, I’ve seen my computer guy twice now. Colin his name is, really is a nice gentleman. Very intelligent that don’t mean anything, cos I don’t think a lot of that academic but he’s a nice guy, get on with him and he’s showed me a lot.
Not a lot, enough to go online you know I can go online and do silly little things, silly things but not, anything major and I want to be able to see people and talk to people, on my computer and I can’t, I’m not allowed- I can’t do that at the moment.
He’s coming next Wednesday and hopefully he’ll show me a bit more….and hopefully I’ll be able to, meet all these people at DEEP and my friend Nigel down in Wales. I miss old Nigel I miss a lot of people from DEEP. You know, I want to speak to them, see them and chat to them and go to all these different…different things that we used to have going on, but….get to talk to you a bit soon-sooner haven’t got much. Oh! We have got a Forget-Me-Not’s meeting, September. Which is the eighth, eleventh or twelfth on Friday, so looking forward to that. First one we’ve had since lockdown. So there you go.
