James finds he is struggling to understand accents.

I was on a Zoom today with people from different parts of the UK. One from Ireland, one from South Africa I think. And what I found was that one of the girls, I’ve known her for years, talked to her for years, but her Irish accent was very pronounced, and I had a bit of trouble following her, and then some other people spoke and I thought – no, I can’t understand what they’re saying. Their accents were too broad. Yet there were some people there that I had absolutely no trouble following what they were saying.

So I was just wondering if Zoom makes, puts an emphasis on things like regional accents. Strange. Bye bye.
