Has summer arrived? Don’t say it Wayne !

Good morning Diaries, it’s Wayne down here in a very very sunny Kent, on Friday the something of June, and it’s due to be thirty one degrees here today and it feels it.

I’m sitting here in the park opposite the bus stop waiting to catch the bus to go for a blood test and this rather silly thought came across my mind, probably to do with age and that, that it used to be that medical appointments, doctors, dentists, blood tests etc etc, would get in the way of what you wanted to do, and where you might be going on that day. And here I am sitting here and my reason for going out today IS the blood test, otherwise I probably wouldn’t have gone out today. Oh how times have changed, isn’t it!

But at least it’s getting me out, and I think while I’m out and the day’s like this, I might well stay out. So, well I’ll have to see. It really is so- so beautiful and it feels very much like summer is here. I hope it doesn’t go away again too soon.
