Hello, it’s Jacqui from Stockport, near Manchester.
Well, I’ve just been away for a couple of days at the – what is it? The 57th – no, 52nd Annual Conference of The British Society of Gereantology. (That means for old people – like me.)
Well, I’ve been away for a couple of days and I’ve been with somebody that I’ve known on Zoom for a long time, but now we were face to face and we were with each other all the time at the Conference. I can’t tell you how being with a person who wants to know me has felt. It has felt so deep – partly listening and asking questions about me and getting to know me and no judgement, no – questions of why did you do that or why did that happen.
I’ve just been so deeply touched and I just feel a different, totally different person. Somebody would just really take that deep connection to learn about me. I’m very touched.
