Dory has problems with her pharmacy and missing medication… is this a scam?
Hi, this is Dory. And I think I’ve done a diary before about pharmacies.
I went to — I used to have problems getting my medication; there was always something missing. So now I check that all the boxes I should have are in the bag before I leave the chemist. So I picked mine up this week, checked the boxes — they were all there — got home.
Come to the evening where I take a tablet in the evening, opened the box, should’ve been 28 tablets in there — there was one single tablet. So I went back — the box had been signed off, there was a signature on it, and the seal had also been not pulled open but, like, slit with a knife.
So I went back the next day, and it took an hour for me to get the others sorted. But I don’t know what happened to the other tablets, because it’s a bit of mystery to me. If they’ve been signed off, surely they should’ve been checked. I did bring this up with the pharmacist who was there, and he said he wasn’t the one that issued them the day before. That pharmacist had gone to Egypt on holiday.
Just makes you wonder, doesn’t it? Although, jumping to conclusions, so I shouldn’t do that. Okay, bye.
