Raymond shares his busy diary and you can hear how much it means to him

Oh, hiya, it’s, I’m Raymond from Oldham.

I’ve just had a nice week.

Monday I went to, it’s called dementia class with Rachael and her mum took me, you just play instruments, have a cup of tea, a biscuit and a natter.

Tuesday I went to the exercise, chair exercise group with Sammy. She’s a nice lady.

Thursday afternoon I went to Springboard and we had a meeting, the committee or something and then we had a game of stand up Bingo with Rachael who organises games and everything. Rachael took me and then brought me home.

Thursday night we went to, it’s called Berensons, and we went for a play. It was about this man and a woman, two actors, he was playing like her husband and she was playing his wife. I think he was a carer and I think she had dementia, [inaudible] not just for the person with dementia but for the carer and all. It was a nice play. Nice to get out the house, otherwise, if I don’t go out, I would just stay in bed all day and go to sleep.

Thank you for listening, bye.
