“Well, it’s been a very busy fortnight. Unbelievable!”
Good morning to you, hope you are all well. Sorry I haven’t been in touch for some time and I’m walking around in the grass here and I’m not too sure where Daisy has been. Well it’s been a very busy fortnight, unbelievable. I’m going to start at the very beginning. I was up for the pride in Bedford (awards for volunteer work), every year they have one and I was up for it and I got local stuff for community and all the rest of it. I got two, one for over 60’s and one for paper picking and all that sort of thing, so thats all been very interesting, I’ve been very busy. We went to the awards ceremony at the town hall and I was a finalist in two of the categories, Volunteer of the Year and Senior Citizen so I’ve done quite well in all of this, quite incredible really. We had a great time, had a meal and all the rest of it. We’ve also done lots of other things as well, we recently went, on 30th November, to the House of Commons for a presentation and reception and received a further 10 grand from Aviva, and we met all the lords and ladies which was an interesting time out. Tibbs has just done singing from memory singing at the Royal Festival Hall in London. All of this has been an amazing time, its been quite a crazy month or so now and I have my daughter coming today with her husband.
