“More exercise walking there and back which is supposed to help the Alzheimer’s”

Hello. It’s Eileen Jacques and today is Wednesday the 17th of February.

My husband tells me that I am forgetting things that have been left in the fridge and the vegetable basket. And last week we found eggs that were 6 weeks past their sell-buy date, but we used them anyway and survived!

Richard – my hubby – also tells me that I forget to buy things sometimes, which then requires me to visit the co-op, which isn’t a problem because it’s so close at the end of the road and more exercise walking there and back which is supposed to help the Alzheimer’s.

Last Monday we went to Selby for me to have a scan to identify if I have a circulation problem which has caused my right leg to swell. And the scan found no problem there. I’ve been to a physiotherapist who gave me some exercises to do three times a day, which I’m sure has helped.

We had a good night out yesterday at a vegetarian restaurant in the centre of York. And today we’re going to book tickets for the West-Yorkshire playhouse. And also make initial enquires about a walking holiday in Ireland and another on the Isle of Mull in Scotland.
