“I co-chaired the forget me nots meeting for the first time”
Hello, it’s Melvyn here. The time now is half past seven, I’ve just come back from taking Max out. I had a Forget Me Nots meeting today, and I co-chaired the meeting, which is the first time I’ve done it. A bit of a struggle. But anyway, it went very well. Victoria Adley, who is running the NHS dementia charity now that Luke’s gone last year, and she’s a super lady, young lady. A bit left to, I invited Victoria to the meeting, and she was left to her own devices really. Bit naughty by her superiors, but she handled it well, and at the end of the meeting, she’s really, really fantastic lady, and another good one for dementia. And hopefully we’ll have a good working relationship, because we’ll get on and do something for dementia, get some money behind her, this charity, and do some nice things for people with dementia, and people who haven’t got dementia. So that was that.
Keith was very knowledgeable today for the Forget Me Nots, giving us a lot of information about what he’s been up to, and the same with Chris. Four new students come today, very nice young ladies, they seem up to it, up for the job, what more can I say? Other than the fact that my arm itches, I’ve got an allergy of some sort and I’ve got to go to the doctors, I’ve got some cream, I went to the chemist and got some cream but it’s not working. I’ve had it before, and I had to have steroid cream, but I’m trying to not touch that stuff. So really I need to go to the doctors and see a dermatologist or something. But anyway, we’ll see.
Max is waiting for his titbits now so I shall go and get some tea, I’m doing a stir fry tonight, with tagliatelle, so I’m looking forward to it, so I’d better get on. Sorry it’s a little bit short, but I’ve been busy all day.
Right, thank you, bye!
