A memory triggered from a memory

Hi this is Dory, and I’ve just listened to Tracy Shorthouse’s dementia diary report and um, it was very good and well done Tracey on your award.  But it brought to mind a funny story and I don’t know why it brought it to mind, but after I listened to it I just thought back to my last visit to the memory clinic, and the memory clinic was in a three storey building.  And I went in and they asked the usual, you know, repeat this person’s name and address and then they asked me “did I know what floor we were on”, and so I looked down and I said the carpet, because of the carpet flooring.  I don’t know why Tracey’s recording made me think of that, but it did so I just thought I’d share it with you.  Okay bye!
