Jules would really like Mrs Personal Independence to meet Mrs Dementia

Hello Jules Emberton here. A little bit of a very strange day yesterday. I received my breakdown from the government about where all my hard earned cash had actually been used nationally, which is great. Really well worth working so that I can fund all those projects. And along with that I received my appeal papers for the tribunal to find out whether or not Mrs PIP is going to allow me to stay in work, by subsidising my income. I have obviously misunderstood the Personal Independence Payment because the word Independence in my opinion gives it away. Mrs Independence really did give up a really good letter of how she feels I can manage and it all came to the bottom bit where Mrs Personal Independence Payment said “In our opinion Mrs Emberton can cope very well and therefore does not need any help”. Fabulous, I didn’t realise actually she had moved into my house. Must remember to do up the spare room. What Mrs Personal Independence doesn’t see is how a person trying to live well with dementia copes when Mrs Dementia decides to pay her a call. So the point of my call is this, on the heading of welfare on my list of payments I’ve made through my hard earned salary, here is my begging letter. “Please may I borrow back a measly £83 a month so that I can give up a days work and try to enjoy the rest of my life living well with Mrs Dementia”. Off now to do up the spare room as Mrs Personal Independence obviously would like to sleep here for a little while because she seems to think we people trying to live well with dementia don’t need any help.
