‘Living with PCA is like living with a Poltergeist’
Hi, it’s Valerie Blumenthal here. I haven’t spoken for ages and this is a quick one. It’s just occurred to me that having PCA Alzheimer’s is a bit like living with a poltergeist, in that everything disappears. You have to search for things that have extraordinarily disappeared and yet suddenly you find that they’re there right under your nose. Um, this is always happening to me; I was just looking for something – for a scarf – and I got my husband to look because I said, could he see it, and there it was! And so it goes on…it’s really very, very funny actually, but it’s just like living with a poltergeist. Anyway, I must go. Have a good day…Bye.
