The Happy Tandemer began the week feeling a bit apprehensive but ended up having a MAR-VE-L-LOUS time dancing, singing (and everything else) with a Gospel Choir in Leicester
At the beginning of the week, I was a bit apprehensive because my buddies were all on holiday and I wasn’t quite sure how my week would pan out. However I remembered, I was delighted to remember that we had booked to see a local AmDram of the play of Handbag, about Margaret Thatcher and her relationship with the Queen. It was full of laughter and was very good. So that was very good. Then, the icing on the cake was having tickets for the Apostelic Gospel Choir from Leicester, which had worked alongside Gareth Malone on Choir of the Year. WOW! We walked, we swayed, we clapped, we clapped, everybody was moving, everything was shaking. WOW! I’ve seen Sister Act but this tops everything. Marvelous, marvelous! It’s making me smile. And we danced, with our friends and shook, shook all our body, all the way home. MAR-VE-LOUS! This is the happy tandemer( inaudible ), but still smiling!
