Agnes reports from a project in Dundee.

Good morning everyone, good morning, it’s Agnes,
I’m not in Coatbridge today, I’m in very wet Dundee. Anyway, what am I doing in Dundee? Well I’m delighted to be meeting up with people living with, as well as they can, with dementia.
We are going to be walking around Dundee. We’ve all been given wee projects to go travel around and find our way around Dundee

It’s really different in as much as that we have got students and volunteers from Dundee University, from their comic graphics department and they are going to look and see our challenges, challenges crossing the road, challenges using the bus, the train, and we are all going to end up in the lovely new V&A building which is the museum on the waterfront in Dundee. We are going to have lunch, chat and then lots of drawing is going to happen. It’s really exciting, a different way to try and get the voice and the views portrayed. I know others are doing this as well, so it just goes to show that we are all on the same wavelength.

Thank you for listening to me and happy Scottish dementia awareness week!

Bye for now.
