Agnes reports on the Edinburgh DEEP Gathering

Good morning everybody; it’s Agnes in Scotland, Coatbridge calling and I’m back in Coatbridgeafter coming back from the Edinburgh DEEP Gathering. What a wonderful time we had. it was a Scottish gathering but it wasn’t really because we had a friend from Northern Ireland who came to visit, we had our friends from Liverpool come to visit. It was wonderful. A great time and Oor Wullie  was out in force, statues everywhere all over Edinburgh which was another great welcome. Lots of laughter, lots of song…ummm…and it was great to see friends from the Highlands and other friends from the Western Isles and Stornaway; fabulous, fabulous times. Lots of work was done and what was other great about it was we also had errm oh gosh, Steve, Steve Milton there showing us the outcomes of the new symbols which a lot of us had worked on. it was absolutely fantastic we crammed so much into it and Paul was great because nothing ever went to time and he just went with the flow, got out his guitar and we just sang along merrily and we got there in the end. I hope everybody got home safe and that we carry on with the time with happiness in the heart,. Take care friends and thank goodness for DEEP. Bye for now.
