Paul reports from a psychologists conference.
Hello, Paul here from Liverpool – just to say that myself and Tommy got back from Southport yesterday, yesterday evening, after having a good afternoon at the FPOP convention in Southport. The agenda was bridging the stereotype of research, which we have been doing with Rachael in Manchester over the last couple of months. And erm we were a bit dubious at first because we were last on in the afternoon, a lot of people were going home and the room was like half empty but, all of a sudden just before we started, the room started to fill up again with other people from other rooms. So erm we had an absolutely marvellous 45 minute discussion about breaking the stereotypes of research, and we also had a question and answer session afterwards which probably would’ve went on all afternoon if we’d have let it but unfortunately we were, due to the time restrictions of people going home, we had to finish. But it was very very intense and enjoyable afternoon – so thanks to Rachael and DEEP again, it was something worth doing very much so – bye for now, speak soon.
