“Shine on Harvest Moon” sings Nancy, reflecting on her time in Stornaway.

Hi there this is Nancy McAdam recording her dementia diaries I’ve just got back from a wonderful weekend in the Hebrides with Paul and the team and Philly and Agnes and all.
It was a wonderful wonderful time but am just heading of to bed and I looked out the window and there was the moon the biggest full moon ever, its absolutely gorgeous so I just had to think about singing you a song to go with it, here we go I’m going to take a big deep breath and then do it.
“Nancy sings”

shine on shine on harvest moon
up in the sky
I ain’t had no loving since January, February, June and July
snow time ain’t no time to sit outdoors and spoon
so shine on
shine on harvest moon for me and my gal.

Thank you,
goodnight.
