Hi, this is Dory.

I thought I would do a diary.

My legs are killing me today (chuckle) in a good way I think. Over the lock down I have sort of lost my MoJo and my friend who lives just across the road she goes walking every day, she always gone walking and climbing mountains.

She told me off on Friday, no Thursday, and she said `You haven`t been off this estate, you haven`t been walking`.

And I said I had but she said `I`ve timed you, you’re only going for twenty minutes`. But I had lost, I was a bit scared to go anywhere else, plus I did not know, I don`t like walking along the road and the only walks that I that I do know that are nice walks I would have to get the bus.

Which I don`t want to do at the moment.

Any way she said ` I`ll call for you at eleven o clock on Friday morning, and we`ll go for a short walk`. So we did anyway but today she has called, every day I have gone just on this short walk.

But today she took me on a walk and it was lovely and I didn`t know it was there and it was only up the road, and it was all like ponds and (oh I can’t think) anyway it was really nice looking at all the wild life and the wild flowers and yes I got twenty, no I didn`t, twelve thousand steps in today, but my legs are aching today but oh it was lovely so I would like, (I dont think she listens to Dementia Diaries) cos she is not very techy, but I would like to give her a big thank you for giving me a kick up the bottom as to say.
