Jacqui feels she should have a choice in the kind of contact she has with the Memory Clinic.

Hi, it’s Jacqui

I got an email today from the community nurse at the memory clinic at the hospital. It was addressed to me and about 8 other people so I could really see the emails as well which I wasn’t really happy with that they was no confidentiality.

Anyway, she apologised for not being in touch with us since the virus and then she said that after leave in July from about the 15th she’ll be coming to visit us individually with full PPE equipment.

I was surprised that I wasn’t given the choice that either she could come or maybe do a Zoom meeting or telephone call or that there was a choice, I was just told. So I replied and said I would prefer to have a Zoom meeting. I didn’t really want her here with all her PPE equipment and going from house to house.

Well, she hasn’t answered and as I say I’m a bit surprised that we are not given the choice of how we’d like to be communicated with and the confidentiality surprised me as well. I don’t know what anybody else feels.

Bye Bye
