Jacqui sticks up for someone getting shouted at for not wearing a mask properly.

Hi, it`s Jacqui from Stockport near Manchester.

I went down on my scooter today to Homebase to get some new light fittings. On the way out to the teller, I heard this lady shouting `Look at her, she hasn`t got her mask on properly`. Well, I was trying to concentrate on what I was doing, and she shouted again. I sensibly turned around and asked her to` leave her alone, that was mean`. So she started on this lady again. By now I was finished what I was doing and I moved a bit closer to her and said again, very loudly, ` LEAVE HER ALONE` Ooh she came out of the store with me, followed me. She said `What’s wrong sweetheart?`. I said ` Don`t shout at her`. she said `I wasn`t shouting`. I said `Yes you were`. She said `That`s my usual voice`.

So anyway I was concerned about the lady who got shouted at, and I was going to go after her but I was a little er a bit too far away and I thought let her be, she might have thought I was coming after her or something. But I do think people should just let people be. She had her mask on the bottom of her face but not her nose and (inaudible) sure there isn`t a disability, we don`t know. I’m not having that.

Speak to you again.

Bye.
