James finds it much easier these days to write in CAPITALS.
Good evening. This is James.
Firstly, thank you for doing the job you do, helping a lot of people.
I noticed one strange thing tonight. I’ve spent my whole working life writing every minute of the day, but I’ve noticed that since I’ve developed dementia, I can no longer do joined up writing. I even find it hard to do my surname. So I’ve resorted to block capitals, and even then I don’t always finish the wee whips and curls, so I can’t always follow it later.
I was putting an end to my diary tonight, and the nearest thing handy was a pencil. And it actually was readable. I don’t know whether changing writing implements would help people communicate.
Good night, sleep tight.
