I’ve got a text from the doctor’s surgery to come in for a routine? appointment, I didn’t know what it was about so I went along and it was my annual dementia review.
I only went along by myself, I didn’t take my friend with me because they were having something done on their house so I went on my own. The lady doctor that did it was ever so attentative. She was really listening and was really taking very well listening with her eyes and sitting where I could see her and not typing when she was talking and listening. Then she was asking some questions, not just about my medical situation and the dementia, but also about my safety as a person at home; whether I was being abused. She was making sure I wasn’t and also that I could access my own money myself and then to get what I want.
I thought that was very good especially as the person I usually bring wasn’t there, she could probably ask these questions so she was making sure that I was safe in all situations medical and at home. I thought that was very good. Have a good day, bye bye.
