Joy needs your help – she is getting so stressed about scammers

Hi, it’s Joy Watson,

Can anyone out there tell me how to distinguish between a scam and a genuine contact? I spent more than an hour hanging on the phone line both yesterday and today.

The reason being, people are hassling me to pay money that I don’t owe.

I’m on benefits so I can’t afford to do this. I also live with dementia and my stress levels have gone through the roof.

I’m confused and I’m frightened!
