“There are things now that I can’t do. But there are things that I can do”.
-by John Williams
Hi, John here.
I hit a bit of a road block with my art, for a bit, but I seem to be ok now. It was a difficult few weeks as I just couldn’t make any decent pictures. It was very frustrating. But I talked myself through it.
I have to accept that there are things now that I can’t do. But there are things that I can do, and I have to concentrate on them. I still enjoy drawing and painting, and haven’t lost the ability to make decent pictures. I spend a good part of each day drawing or looking at paintings on Pinterest. We’ve been to several Alzheimer’s events lately, and I always enjoy them. I love having a chat with people we know, a great group. Dawn did power of attorney online, for both finance, health welfare. I’m happy to have her in charge of these and it’s a relief for me that I don’t have to worry about it. Both Dawn and I really like the Dementia Diaries newsletters. It’s so inspiring to be connected with this project. That’s all for now.
