“If they could only live in your head for one day, they would understand the difficulties”
– by Chris Norris
“I just want to talk about the various types of dementia and the confusion that people have. You mention the word dementia, straight away they think that you’ve got memory problems and of course not all dementia involves memory problems. Some involve how to order equipment and that sort of thing.
The other thing that I found really frustrating is that if you tell them that you have dementia, they look at you, as if something’s gonna grow on the end of your nose and flash that I’ve got dementia. I find that really frustrating. If they could only live in your head for one day, then they would understand the difficulties.”
