“We Shall Overcome”. A wonderful sentiment played by Chris during the latest Thursday clap for Key Workers

Hello.

This is Chris Norris, from Ashford, in Kent.

Since the Thursday Clap for NHS and Key Workers began a few weeks ago, I’ve gone outside my house and played my Tenor Horn, to accompany the clapping and banging going on.

This week, accompanied by a lady from down the road, we played “For He’s A Jolly Good Fellow” and we followed it by the stirring hymn tune, “We Shall Overcome”, which is a firm mantra for these difficult times in the Virus crisis.
